Born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Patrick Segraves followed in his father's footsteps and attended the University of Arkansas graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1975. Pat moved to Dallas, Texas after college where he practiced until relocating to Florida in the early 1980's.

Pat has been a registered architect in many states, and currently holds active licenses in Florida, Texas, and Colorado.

Pat attributes his success to his hands on approach at SKA Architect & Planner. The majority of the firm's work is acquired by word of mouth. Many of his new clients have already seen Pat's work, Mediterranean and Island style homes, and want something of a similar style for themselves. Pat feels that when you live in a tropical environment your home should reflect that lifestyle.

In his free time, Pat enjoys traveling where he finds inspiration in other cultures and their architecture. Sailing on his boat, Tonic, off the coast of Florida is one of his favorite pastimes where Pat says everything is more beautiful and clean.

A South Florida local, Daniel Clavijo grew up admiring the work of Addison Mizner in Palm Beach and his native Boca Raton. After graduating from Boston College High School, he returned to study architecture at the University of Miami, graduating in 2015 summa cum laude and awarded with the Henry Adams Medal for School of Architecture graduating student with highest GPA.

Among his other academic accomplishments, Daniel studied abroad in Rome, received Certificates is Classical Architecture and Historical Preservation, completed a minor in Urban Studies. In 2022, he graduated with an MBA from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business with a focus on Real Estate, Finance, and Marketing having received the W.R. Berkley Professor of Economics and Finance and Dean Emeritus Peter Henry Faculty Scholarship.

Daniel began working at SKA in the summer of 2014 and continued even while completing his studies. As an associate, he is essential in getting projects through the initial ARCOM phase, helping coordinate project management, and creating the renderings you see on our website (which he also developed).

Among other interests, gaining inspiration through travel as well as reading and collecting books and art of the comic book medium are some ways he finds relaxation and enjoyment.
